Join Rep. Kristine Reeves at her Education Forum on September 18th at the EX3 Ron Sandwith Teen Center on the Truman Campus! Scholars, parents, teachers and other members of the community are invited to come and share their views on the state of education in South King County. During this last legislative session, Rep. Reeves was a champion for fully funding education and coming into compliance with the McCleary decision. But as a mom of two, she knows there is still work to be done to provide the children of this state with the world-class education they deserve. Share your perspective on how to improve schools and your experiences in public education to help Rep. Reeves bring them back to Olympia to fight for the working families and children of South King County.
Children of all ages are welcome! Light refreshments and facilitated feedback begin at 5:30, Q&A with Rep. Reeves from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Parking will be limited at the event, so make sure to arrive early. If you are able, we invite you to take public transit to the Federal Way Transit Center. From the center, it's a 10 minute walk to the event venue, head east on 317th St., turn left onto 28th Ave and the location will be on your left.
